How Can I Help You?
The web may be one of the craziest and most effective marketing tools in the history of communication. Are you serious about it?
I am. I work with each client to create custom online strategies which aren’t just nice to look at (although they are that too). Through a recipe of collaboration, creativity, and a dose of honesty, I’ll help you motivate clients and customers, promote ideas, and extend brands.
There is no cookie cutter recipe for success, which means you won’t get a packaged approach to your online needs when you are working with me. Since every client has different needs–and a different story to tell–we’ll work together to find the right recipe for your success.
You have to spread it around to make things grow.
It used to be enough to build a web site, promote it with solid search engine optimization and marketing strategies. But the evolution of technology brings social media outlets, video, podcasts, and interactive opportunities. It can be overwhelming. It can also be exciting. You might want to try everything (a la the old “throw everything at the wall and see what sticks” approach). I don’t entirely recommend that strategy, but I can help you decide what the right tools are to connect with your audience and tell your story.
What do you say about your business?
Personal branding isn’t just a catchy phrase. It’s a real component of a successful business strategy. Chances are if you someone, somewhere has Googled you (you googled me, right?). So what do those search results say about you? What should they say about you? Should you tweet? Be on LinkedIn? Facebook? Dweedle? (Nah, that last one isn’t really a thing. I was just testing you.) Should you have a web site? Creating a personal brand is crucial to your professional success. Let me work with you to define you.
It really is all about fit.
Every independent contractor or agency works best with a certain type of client. I work best with small organizations and non-profits. The projects I work on tend to be small to medium in size. There are many opportunities to work with some terrific local companies for larger projects. I feel strongly that while there are good options for medium to large companies, there are few options for small organizations with limited budgets to tell their story. If you feel that way too (and better yet, you are part of a small to medium sized organization), we’ll work well together. Hesitant that you won’t get what you need from a one woman web shop? Don’t be. You can expect:
- Fair and competitive price ranges
- High quality work
- Reasonable time lines
- A sense of humor and a lot of patience
